• Implemented strategy projects in various sectors including Manufacturing (Atlas Copco), Retail (H&M) and Government (Globalt Ansvar) to develop a broader understanding of business challenges and solve them.
  
• Three years of software development experience both as programmer and Project leader in the IT industry.
  
• IT consulting experience in Transport and Logistics domain.
  
• Specialized in software configuration control in large cross team environment (more than 400 engineers).
  
• Was part of the team which received the "Best Managed Project, 2005" excellence award as measured by customer satisfaction, quality of software and profits accrued by the project. The award is given annually in Infosys by the top management to projects which have demonstrated excellence in its delivery.
  
• Published technical paper on implementation of RFID in solving the distribution problem.
• Involved in various social service programs in Infosys including spreading IT awareness among rural children in the suburbs of Hyderabad, organizing hepatitis and blood donation camps for employees in campus.
  

My background

A computer engineer by training, I hail from the city of joy, Kolkata. My family includes my parents, grandmother and a loving sister. Having worked with technology, my primary objective at present is to gain in depth understanding of Management techniques and how it regulates Business. My background as an Engineer, experience in a major IT firm, Infosys, and the present Master's in Business gives me the practical perspective on what it takes for a company to streamline its business development leveraging technology.
I am personally interested in public speaking and was part of the Infosys Hyderabad Toastmasters club. I have keen interest in theatrics, elocution, painting, calligraphy and anything related to abstract art. I play basketball and chess in my leisure and love traveling and exploration. I laze in the internet a lot too.

Theatrics is one of my childhood passions, and I have involved myself in performing road shows and small skits to create awareness about different social issues that needs attention in the Indian context.

I do write some poetry in my own verse when I want to unwind. Over the years I have covered various occasions that I have experienced in words and I wish to publish my work someday.

My Vision

My vision is to start my own business consultancy enterprise which would bring positive changes in the way businesses are done in this world. I imagine the world getting flatter everyday and hence want to leverage the skills I get from a MBA program to start my own global consultancy business in India. I want to gain a broader perception and experience in implementing and deploying Business Applications and solutions. My primary objective at present is to gain in depth understanding of Management techniques and how it regulates Business. I want to get into a IT / Finance / Business consultancy firm which I believe would provide the platform which I need to start my own consultancy in future.
